We are an artisan bakery located in the heart of Collingwood with an emphasis on sustainability and the community. We offer long fermentation and naturally leavened breads and pastries made from ingredients produced ethically and (where possible) sourced locally. We aim to be part of a movement of bakeries, farmers and producers who are trying to do the right thing for the community and taking care of the planet. It may not mean using only “certified” organic ingredients, but ingredients that have been produced responsibly using sustainable farming techniques.
Our open plan bakery allows customers to be able to see the bakers working, shaping and baking the breads. We want to encourage people to be more conscious and curious about food and where it comes from, not only the final product but also the raw ingredients.
